White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Despite being a healer, Rugie questioned whether he was more like his father Euphorium or his mother Wild Child. He can sometimes summon a small amount of fire but has stronger healing powers that came from his mother's inheritance. His parents' impossible romance makes him hope that he'll find love not just with his own kind. When Rugie grew up, he realized he could still use his flame for healing instead of fighting.

In the clan, Rugie is considered a special dragon because of his past, causing others to think he wishes for war rather than peace. Instead of being discouraged by his peers that shun him because of his flame, the white dragon works to improve his magic and use the fire he inherited to close open wounds. Rugie dreams to one day join the border patrol with his kin as a field medic and make his father proud despite his mother's inheritance.
