White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Diamond Xouran is one of the many children of Ametrine and Quartz Xouran. She is quiet, and often finds herself sharing silence with Slate Xouran, who she is slightly enamored with. This has resulted in eggs more than once, but the more Slate strays, the less willing Diamond is to continue mothering children who may never even know when they are standing next to their father. Diamond finds herself enduring short bouts of jealousy, but is still a white dragon at heart, and so she has never confronted Slate or her children to explain the situation and how she feels about it.
