White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Zirconia is a child of Diamond and Slate Xouran. Never having known her father, Zirconia is slightly rebellious. With a pacifist as a mother, she was often allowed to get away with things. Even at this young stage in her life Zirconia has become a mother, through partnership with Alabaster Xouran, an adopted family member. Zirconia is very attached to him as it is her first 'love', but she constantly finds herself faced with insecurities. Though her mother offers her advice, Zirconia sees her mother as a single dragon who has botched her relationship- and thusly, she refuses to hear a word of it.
