Neotropical Dragons are a breed that originate in rainforests. They are fun-loving and enjoy lounging on tree branches, eating whatever fruit they find. They are also often found sunning themselves on rocks, using their large wings to soak up the rays. In the summer, males compete for mates by showing off their striped wings and gliding in spirals down the tree trunks. It is said that the larger the wings, the more likely the male will attract a suitable mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. When Bananajack accidentally stumbled upon an apple cider event one day while he was on vacation to a temperate region, he became impressed that so many individuals could be so fond of apples. The round, crunchy fruits were nice, but nothing compared to bananas. The thing the locals seemed to like the most was pressing the fruit into juice and letting it sit around until it fermented, but Bananajack didn't have enough time on his trip to wait for fermented apple cider. So he went home and decided to experiment with bananas. Getting aso mana to keep the fermentation at a good temperature was easy. The hard part was to get enough bananas to make cider. He managed this by sneaking bananas to his hidden stash at night when the majority of his flockmates are either asleep or raiding lrBED Full of Bananas's hoard, and has since distilled a few batches banana liquor that he named after himself, and is now the most sought-after drink in the Madder Jungle.
