Floret Wyverns are an elegant breed, named for the flowerlike mane and tail each individual possesses. They project small fields of magic around themselves that calm those in the field’s proximity, for a short while replacing anxiety and anger with peace-of-mind. Florets are strikingly wise; they often share their knowledge of the world with whomever is willing to listen and learn. They are very faithful to those close to them, and are especially devoted to their partners and young. It is said that the lasting friendship of a Floret is one of the highest testaments to one’s true character.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Flower Piano loves magic, usually doing spells and potions, though history is sometimes tackled, too. He spends a lot of time on magical feats and has, for many, many years, neglected other skills, even those that the other dragons of his flock consider basic and important, like turn-taking in a conversation, flying without bumping into obstacles, and dining manners. He probably has all the answers to questions about mana handling and spell construction steps and so on, but he can't be trusted to not burp and fart when there's company, and despite his sing-song voice, he has a very rough manner of speech.
