Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Albino Dragons are so named because their translucent, scale-less skin lacks all pigment. Instead, to help protect their bodies from the sun, they are coated in an oily secretion that blocks the sun’s harmful rays. The call of an albino dragon is similar to a barn owl--a shriek instead of a roar.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Penology is viewed as the policy wonk in his community, though that is not always a bad thing. He is well-read and can easily spot errors and inconsistencies in text, and he's tasked with pointing them out and possibly suggesting how to improve them. He's especially interested in criminal legislation and punishment, though he's the sort of dragon who will campaign for positive reinforcement instead of punitive measures. Penology used to be an assistant for a cabinet member who was elected out, but the Prime Admin liked him so much that he was hired as admin assistant, and she goes out of her way to work around his sliminess. Outside work hours, Penology is a colorful character with an ever-changing set of hobbies, and he can never settle on a favorite food.
