Vremya Drakes are known for their impeccable abilities to alter time as an instinctual response to external stimuli. Whenever they feel threatened or startled, Vremya Drakes are capable of locking their target into a temporary time loop, allowing the drakes to escape unscathed. This attachment to time magic also supplies them insight to potential outcomes a few moments ahead to give them an advantage in dangerous situations. Many instances of deja vu have been attributed to Vremya Drakes and their time loops. Once heralded as the most intelligent drake breed, they are actually not much smarter than the average drake, but their unique method of distracting enemies has falsely given them a reputation of cunning and acumen.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

This vremya drake is a member of the club of tabs, although it seems no one knows why, and none of the organization's officers remember giving her membership. She doesn't even qualify, really, but whenever people think of ejecting her from the club, she gazes at them with her innocent yellow eyes and glows for a moment, and they forget what they were trying to do with her. Meetings feel very strange when she's present, the most unusual of which took only about 25 minutes but somehow burned down three hour-notches of their 50-hour candle and caused people outside to ask what was happening in the conference hall.
