Cheese Dragons are not actually alive. They are enchanted items of food that act almost identically to dragons. They have no need to eat, but they must “live” in humid environments or they will dry out and harden.

Swissish teh Paranoid Nommable is not necessarily paranoid that the other dragons will eat it, but that it will eat itself. One fateful accident caused a part of its horn to be broken off. Having the observed the other dragons enjoing the cheese it was so made out of, its curiousity was peaked and it tasted part of its horn. It was amazed and quickly addicted to the creamy taste of itsself nearly eating its arm off. Suddenly comming to its senses, Swissish realized if it didn't get help it'd eat itself even though as a nonliving dragon, it doesn't need to eat. It went to the magi dragons to repare its arm and decided the only solution was to melt its mouth shut permantly. Swissish has grown to be a pretty quiet dragon. It tends to keep away from other cheese dragons, never trusting himself not to crave their cheesy goodness.
