Pseudo-Wyvern Drakes are a desert-dwelling species with an unusual bipedal body structure as adults. They start out as quadrupedal hatchlings and slowly start walking on their hind legs as they age. As their name suggests, these drakes are often mistaken for wyverns from afar as they ride the desert currents searching for food. A social drake, Pseudo-Wyverns travel in small packs, working, hunting, and raising young together.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

User Description

Corvus is the epitome of a Pseudo-Wyvern. Though the youngest in her brood, she designates herself the leader among her siblings. She claims a bit more intelligence than the average drake, though this is more just a reflection of her organizational and leadership skills. When hunting, she coordinates her siblings like a drill sergeant, often barking orders for them to follow. They'd complain more about how bossy she is, except that she actually does a good job. Stubborn as a bull, Corvus will only listen to one dragon, and that is her mother, Corvidae. Being her namesake and superior in all aspects, Corvus looks up to her mother a lot. Her siblings have learned to use this to their advantage and call on her whenever they think Corvus has overstepped her bounds. She does not like that they figured this out.
