Ochredrakes are a curious species with a wide array of mutations and interesting behaviors. Not as intelligent as normal dragons, they only breed with other drake species. While they may not be bright, ochredrakes are flamboyant and fun-loving with amazing, chirping voices to sing with, and tame readily in the presence of a gentle hand.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

User Description

Sap is about as faithful an Ochredrake as you can find. He is... well, for lack of a better term, very sappy and tenderhearted. He seems to rely solely on his emotions and instincts to make decisions and has almost no sense of grounding logic. Because of this, he is extremely gullible and easy to manipulate. Luckily, his much more skeptical, defensive mate, Corvidae, makes sure to keep him safe. Though also a drake, she certainly has a little more brain power to her name and is capable of spotting trickery when she sees it, especially when it is applied to Sap. Sap is super affection with her and anyone else who offers him a kind hand. He acts almost like a cat, rubbing all over those he particularly enjoys the company of, including Corvidae. When he does recognize a dangerous situation, Sap's first reaction is to run and hide. He can reach some impressive speeds on the ground, and, while he may not be a skilled or agile flier, he has one of the fastest takeoffs ever recorded.
