Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. But... where are its legs?

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Cooro is a cute little guy, but it doesn't change the minds of a good number of humans who are afraid of his appearance and powers, especially when he has the potential to wreak havoc. He is a bit absent-minded and slow to make decisions. No matter what happens, though, he is always optimistic and cheerful and has made a number of friends as a result. He loves eating and is especially fond of apples.
