Guardian Dragons have large shields on the end of their tails. Although the shields appear to be heavy, they are light, yet nearly unbreakable. Guardian Dragons use their tail-shields, as well as their wings, to deflect attacks and protect others. Often, they will guard the eggs and hatchlings of a nest while others are away. They are generally peaceful, and will not retaliate unless necessary. They have no need to forage or hunt, as they are fed by those they protect.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

The dragons in the cave are grateful to have Hopes Eternal as their friend. Hope (for short), even though not his owner's first dragon, found the cave in which he and his friends live in. He loves visiting the hatchlings in his spare time, when he is not watching carefully over the eggs. Hope is practically the guardian of the cave, as he looks out for all the dragons who live there. He tries to keep all the dragons healthy, and blames himself if an egg or hatchling dies. Hopes Eternal and Silvaria, a white dragon, have a child, a guardian dragon. The couple love to sit by the waterfall and just stare at the ripples in the little pond, but sometimes they go into the nearby meadow to search for herbs or beehives (to collect honey or wax, or both). Thanks to one helpful dragon owner, their child is named Eternal Silver.
