Kohraki Dragons silently stalk their prey, concealed within the thick, rolling fog that blankets autumn forests. They prey on the lost and unwary, luring them close by mimicking familiar voices and sounds before swallowing them whole, leaving no trace behind. Bustling, warm villages have been left silent and cold after particularly foggy nights, their inhabitants having fallen prey to swarms of Kohraki Dragons. After, these dragons disappear as quickly as they come, leaving behind only unease and footprints.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Brodin was abandoned as a young hatchling and moved around different areas, surviving on trash and rotting corpses. He was found by two elders of a well-known family whose members may or may not be making an honest living, and feeling sorry for the malnourished child, the family adopted him. He was cared for and taught their ways, and once he was old enough, he was put on assignments. Brodin quickly demonstrated that he's highly competent, carrying the jobs out stealthily and ruthlessly using his natural abilities to his advantage. Eventually, he was initiated into the family as a member and given the most important job: protecting the Don. He has been a loyal bodyguard to the Don for many years, and they are rarely seen without each other. Over time, though, Brodin grew dissatisfied with serving the Don and the family, despite the privileges and power he's gained. It's not enough. He wants more. He will one day kill the man he swore to protect.
