Lumina Dragons received their names from their highly reflective scales, which—at times—seem to glow. They are vain, always strutting about and preening incessantly; if one of their scales has so much as a scratch or a defect, they’ll remove it. Luckily, their scales grow back quickly, and each new growth is more beautiful than the last. These narcissistic dragons live in small groups and prefer to surround themselves with beauty. The females guard their territory and eggs while the males search for vegetation to eat.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Refn has long been jealous of the other hatchings, rolling around in the mud and dust, not bothered by the dirt that clings to their scales long after the play has ended. That they can have such fun, while for him, each speck of sand which brushes against his scales is such an irritant that he is compelled to get rid of fills him with jealously. Refn tried to make friends, but all the hatchlings passed him off as an aloof perfectionist, while Refn alone knew it was just a deeply rooted compulsion that he couldn't avoid. The idea of mud touching even one of his gleaming scales makes him shrivel up in disgust, however much he knows it is irrational, just a simple phobia. Refn's love is held by a true beauty, Arian, who in his eyes can do no wrong, yet his subconscious continually points out the many flaws in her behaviour. Doubting he could find better, he puts up with her cheating repeatedly on him, believing in his heart of hearts that no-one else will love him.
