Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Cerulean Watcher is remarkably still and quiet for one of his kind.

Living on the edge of Razz Neptune's lake, he sits quietly amongst the shallows, snapping up dragonflies, water-boatmen and other lakeside insects instead of rambling through meadows and flower-patches hunting for larger and lazier bugs.

His still and silent life reflects in his personality; a duty-bound and devoted father, his health suffers whenever his wandering mate, Briar Shriek, leaves an egg in his care, as not even eating will get in his way for caring for his offspring.  Cerulean's quiet water-side vigil continues once his hatchlings reach the point where they can care for themselves, however -- usually just in time to prevent him from starving to death.

Cerulean possesses a love for collecting bits of sea-glass, and is occasionally seen chatting to his weyrmates to spread the word to any ocean-going dragons.
