Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Male Silvers hunt and eat meat. While not as beautiful or radiant as females, silver males possess better physical attributes, such as strength.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Named after a sword that cut with the moon's light, there was no doubt of the strength he possessed. Yet he was not a fighter--rather, he twirled his scaly body about as the moon rose in the sky and the sun settled down for a nap or two, reaching forward towards the moon before throwing his body back down to the land with a jerk, barely catching himself as he slowed his descent and tapped the surface of a still lake with one single claw. Then he'd leave as quick as he came, through trees and leaving a grace of twigs and leaves behind his rapid movement. Those who knew of him and his mate, Amaterasu, looked upon one another and whispered, "Look, look, the moon is dancing for the sun and the sun is dancing for the moon." He knew of the false myths that had stirred upon him for his fascination with the moon, but he merely accepted the fake tales that were spoken. But when the sun stretched one way with the moon, the other, he locked claws with Amaterasu in their ritual of dusk.
