Falconiform Wyverns are normally shy creatures. However, when approached, they often feel threatened, and the flames along their bodies leap higher. Females tend to be smaller than males, though Falconiform Wyverns are typically rather large overall. They use their size to their advantage by hunting smaller dragons. The Falconiform’s graceful, swooping dives are said to resemble birds of prey. Falconiforms are largely solitary dragons that only meet in order to breed.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

A very shy Falconiform, Fintan prefers being on his own, drifting over his home island in solitude. He gets along reasonably well with his many Stratos cousins (the quiet ones, anyway), often sharing the air with them while he hunts. His acrobatic skills are nothing to sneeze at. Though still developing them, he can perform some seriously impressive dives and barrel rolls. This is primarily because, compared to other Falconiforms, he's tiny. He's barely the size of an average female (which has led to a bit of confusion) but this helps him perform tighter maneuvers. However, this also means he tends to hunt smaller game and isn't nearly as feared as others of his breed. Fintan doesn't mind this, though he does get a little envious if his father, who scares everyone in a room away. But these slight twinges of jealousy are all that amounts. Fintan is not an especially active or forward dragon. He prefers quiet environments and being on his own, undisturbed by the problems of the world.
