Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has bright, shiny scales and loves to play in the sunlight.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

It's Very Purply's favorite color is purple, which is great because he's coincidentally (or not coincidentally) a shade of slightly red-purple. He has a budding collection of purple items and likes being called purple or purply. Sometimes, people don't listen to what he says and instead talk about the cute purply child, which is OK for now but will probably really annoy him when he's old like them. He likes root vegetables, ube excepted, which is unfortunate because its inside is such a pretty purple.
