Geode Dragons are closely related to Stone dragons. They are covered in a hard stone-like material as well as beautiful crystal. Their wings are entirely useless for flight, but they help attract mates. The dragons with the most brilliant and colorful crystals are more likely to mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

KynesKrisso is a Geode dragon, the son of Camreth the Earth and Merthrylia the Geode. A few days before he hatched, his egg mysteriously went missing. His distraught parents and the rest of his family hunted all over the place and attacked anyone they suspected could have stolen his egg. After a few hundred hospital bills were paid and even more people apologized to, the egg was found in PearlWave the Water's treasure collection, into which it had obviously rolled (since PearlWave wasn't there at the time she couldn't be blamed). When the egg was taken out, something strange was discovered. It rolled back in again. And again. And again. Even though the ground did not slant and a vine barrier was put up, it still wound up in the water, where it ultimately hatched. The hatchling stayed in the water, preferring the beautiful, blue tinted world to the land above. Now, KynesKrisso and his Stone friend Tysakinne stay in an underwater cavern where they build rock crystal statues.
