Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It seems very protective.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

This dragon knows that she can't breed but she loves children and enjoys to hear that it's thought to be her job to guide over all tiny dragons, including the children and the frozen dragons. With her maturing, she expressed that she doesn't feel like the growing hatchling she used to be and she is firmly convinced that she could guide them better if she stays in her position as a small but equal non-adult. The dragons thought it was a late April Fool's joke and a never-ending discussion started. Her mate, the adult Guardian of Nature, was fine with her decision, because he already has a couple of hired helpful dragons to take care over all. If something won't work he will intervene as necessary. The wise white dragons warned that there are already some frozen patients hoping for their healing but they never ever found a way to cure.

At the end she repeated her wish: "I don't want to be an adult. Please freeze me! ... This is it!"
