Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Tleronauce is a black dragon warrior, able to fly almost fast enough to keep up with a Skywing Dragon, and very powerful with magic. He devotes this power to chasing Kalakanath the Mad and his twisted followers (without much success, but he is able to keep them away from his cave for the most part), or to driving off dangerous predators who come too close to his home. He is a capable battle commander and competent tactician, and is often seen leading five or six other dragons, whenever battle is a possibility.

When not hunting the Dark Dragons, as some call Kalakanath and his followers, Tleronauce spends most of his time with his wife, Zeryphell. The two life a very content home and social life, neither being withdrawn from conversation or general society.
