Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It likes to sleep in the sunshine, but it’s more active at night.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Snarlov prods everything he dislikes with his tail and doesn't get why nobody he touches is writhing in agony. Instead, most people think he's cute and compliment him for pretending to be grown up, and they even pet his head sometimes. They are not frightened by his frightening snarl, either, although his guardian cuffs him with her paw if he does it too much at strangers. How infuriating.
