Kingcrownes are a mysterious and proud species, possessing some of the most beautiful and reflective scales of all dragons. Despite this, what is sought after most is not their scales, but the silk-like hairs that grow along their head, neck, and elbows. The hairs themselves have a magical shine, and are thought to have powerful healing properties when used in potions. The hairs of a Kingcrowne are even believed to bring good fortune to those who possess them. Though it is obvious that these dragons possess magical abilities, it is still not entirely clear what they are fully capable of. Most of a Kingcrowne’s time is spent grooming itself, keeping its scales and fur in top condition.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Four Peles has a high opinion of himself, and no matter how many times he screws up, he'll either find someone to blame or deny that his mess-up had ever happened. He is short-tempered, cowardly, and deceitful, and for some reason, some dragons find that attractive, so he has a small following. He always has his thinning white mane carefully styled to disguise the fact that he has less hair at his age than he should. Four Peles's hair volume and image are the most important things to him, and on a rainy or very windy day, he refuses to leave his cave because his hair would fall apart, which his ego would never survive. Of course, he would have an important-sounding excuse ready because the narrative that he's too vain to stand in rain or wind would be unacceptable.
