Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has begun to mimic your voice, and studies your habits intently.

And look! It’s grown larger and its antlers are coming in. It must be close to maturing!

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Fippacy loves Dragon Crunch cereal for breakfast. When she grows up, she wants to take over the role of the falconiform on the box—even if that means she has to eat him first! She doesn't think she would be that bothered by eating the Dragon Crunch cereal mascot. She thinks he'll taste just like Dragon Crunch. Once she eats him she'll get to be on the box, and everyone will look up to her in the morning when they sit down to their delicious bowl of Dragon Crunch. Her only fear is that once she gets on the artwork, some younger breakfast-lover will eventually come to gobble her up. Alas, it is a price she is willing to pay in order to be famous for her connection with another perfectly good part of a full and complete breakfast.
