On sunny days when the sea is clear and sparkling, coastal villages are often treated to a spectacular sight. While normally shy, Tideweaver Lindwyrms are emboldened by fair weather, and when one starts to dance, the rest soon follow. However, their intricate fins and complex dances are more than just a dazzling show. Tideweavers rely on slight changes in their movements and fin positions to communicate with others of their kind. This communication is key; the lindwyrms are almost always found traveling within tightly bonded family groups. To show affection, they have been known to gently hold one another with their small front legs.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

The prospect of documenting current events and history as a water-dwelling being scares most dragons out of doing such a thing, but not the endlessly optimistic Khari, an amanuensis and aspiring historian. It's a challenge, he believes, but it's not impossible. It's the responsibility of everyone to follow important events and people, and someone must document it so it can be retained. For example, it's possible that the last few dragons of Khari's clan to remember the Conflict of the East Tides will perish, and then no one will be able to learn about it, unless a willing dragon writes it down! Though he doesn't have any concrete methods of documenting, disseminating, or storing artifacts and written material beside a waterproofing spell, he's going to somehow figure something out. He's been trying to convince his many brothers and sisters to do the same, but none have shared that desire and feel that his is an impossible dream.
