Avatars of Change are unpredictable, exuberant dragons whose unique connection to magic has saturated their entire bodies. It is said that possessing one of their iridescent scales can change one’s fate, and many have sought the favor of these dragons hoping to receive a scale as a gift.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Behold the Charge is boisterous, mercurial, energetic, and loud. Some individuals worship her, some treat her like any other breed of dragon, and some just wish she would calm down. Beyond the Chrome likes to go to the "whatever-sport-course" as she calls it, not to participate but to roar at the proprietors and change the flora and water features. People there did convince Change the Befouled to have fun once, but as expected, the Wise and Unruly One soon tired of it and turned the sand pits into asphalt before taking off. Aside from the appearances at the course, Beyond the Chance is hard to predict. Whether it's due to forgetfulness or a love of multiple monikers, she always introduces herself with a slightly different name wherever she visits.
