Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Damien is very easy-going. He takes life as it comes and tries not to get too stressed over little things. His sister would say that he is too easy going and doesn't take life seriously enough, to which Damien would respond, while affectionately nuzzling his sister, that she is too uptight and doesn't know how to take a joke, which is why he has friends and she doesn't.
