Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Robse is a talented dragon known for his musical ability. Robse loves to produce music for his Cave and he is very talented at doing so. However, Robse is very possessive of his talent and refuses to train young dragons to produce music. When a young relative of his showed promise at creating music, Robse was downright mean to him, calling him all sorts of nasty names and making the young hatchling feel rather worthless. It was only when his daughter called him out on his behavior that he reluctantly began to mentor his young relative.
