Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
On sunny days when the sea is clear and sparkling, coastal villages are often treated to a spectacular sight. While normally shy, Tideweaver Lindwyrms are emboldened by fair weather, and when one starts to dance, the rest soon follow. However, their intricate fins and complex dances are more than just a dazzling show. Tideweavers rely on slight changes in their movements and fin positions to communicate with others of their kind. This communication is key; the lindwyrms are almost always found traveling within tightly bonded family groups. To show affection, they have been known to gently hold one another with their small front legs.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
A dragon who just likes to know about the goings-on in the region and the world, My Hands Are Tide reads the weekly newspaper every Sunday, a difficult but not impossible task. In the morning, while everyone in his group remains in deeper waters, he crawls out onto the shore and waits until a land-dweller in one of the caves or huts nearby brings the paper to him so he can look through it. When finished, My Hands Are Tide comments on some of the content and returns the newspaper, if the owner still wants it. The son of an arsani dragon, he inherited his mother's strong affinity for magic, so as thanks, he casts a small blessing on the paper-bringer so for about a week, they remain healthy and feel more confident than usual. After making it back into the water to his waiting throng, he relates everything he's read to anyone curious to hear.
