Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Tina is a small, cute, and graceful dragon. She's a terrific huntress, too, and while she is sweet, nice and loyal with her friends (especially her vampiric "child" Eric), she is cold, scary and merciless with enemies of her clan. She lived for a while with Dracul and Carmilla, then left her vampiric parents to roam by herself for some years.

She cared for abandoned eggs and hatchlings for a while, then she stopped resisting the temptation and bit an egg, turning it into a vampire (the loneliness of being a solitary vampire was overwhelming at times), and raised it.

The hatchling grew big and strong, and she called him Eric. Tina doesn't see Eric as a lover or a child, but as a clan chief.

She's very loyal to him and to his mate, Elizabeth.

They are a small, strong, happy family in their new territory.
