Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Licorice loves to watch the stupid thing other dragons do, and laugh when they get hurt. Being cold, unfeeling, and sarcastic, she conveys the personality expected of a Black Dragon. Her mate, Cherry, is the exact opposite of her, strangely. She does love him though, confirming the saying that opposites attract.

She often chats with Opal and Victoria, two of her best friends. Other times, she likes to fly at nighttime with her friends or walk around, looking for something to laugh at. One of her favorite hobbies is sometimes tagging along in the antics of Zoro Expiscor and Crazy Amos Expiscor. She personally finds them to be interesting, and she does get a kick out of the crazy things they do.
