Neotropical Dragons are a breed that originate in rainforests. They are fun-loving and enjoy lounging on tree branches, eating whatever fruit they find. They are also often found sunning themselves on rocks, using their large wings to soak up the rays. In the summer, males compete for mates by showing off their striped wings and gliding in spirals down the tree trunks. It is said that the larger the wings, the more likely the male will attract a suitable mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

While his brother and father are more confident, self-serving dragons with a real sense of boldness and honor to them, Green is flighty, nervous, anxious, and extremely meek. He rarely ever speaks in front of others, least of all his parents, whom he has a bit of fear towards. His mother, Crepe, constantly flirts around and hooks up with other males with no regard for her hatchlings, so it leads to a lot of domestic tension Green simply cannot deal with. So, he mostly hides from it all, either by ducking to his brother's side or seeking out a place of solitude to drown it out. He isn't good under pressure. When faced with a stressful situation, Green will hyperventilate and fly into a panic. His brother is at least attentive and supportive of him, always there to offer him a wing of support to stabilize him. Despite the anxiety, Green is incredibly sweet. He is pretty socially inept and has no real semblance of how to interact with others, but he's sincere and honest and does his best.
