Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Seneran is a male magi dragon, very old and very powerful. He and his wife, Niscieri, are the parents of the vast majority of magi dragons in their cave. Seneran is an extremely powerful magician, and leans towards fire, light, and occasional electric attacks. He is more than a match for a challenging magician, and seeks out enemy magic users in the fray of battle to eliminate their threat. He is well-known for many things relating to his magical prowess, including his tendency to not hunt for hatchlings more than a hundred years old, as they are-in his opinion-able to manage it themselves. He also is famed for his humbling of the human hero Arretan.

Seneran's character is not an exceptionally complex one. He is not too strict a disciplinarian, but will not tolerate delinquency. He is all in favor of the mental arts, though is reluctant to write much himself, and has found hobbies in solving math problems set forth by other dragons and using magic to shape items, like a dragon smith.
