Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Rumor tells of the odd circumstance by which this Red Dragon got its name. According to the story, he was to receive a name from the human who raised him, the wandering sorceress Kunikunatu. She spent close to an hour writing out possible names, but each one faded away, as they already belonged to another dragon.

"All The Good Names Are Taken," wrote the sorceress, half-jokingly. Within moments, the ink disappeared once again.

"Oh For Pete's Sake!" she scribbled, furiously; this, too, vanished from the parchment.

Finally, she slammed her quill on the ground, snapping it in half. Throwing her arms into the air, she shouted, "Are there no names left in the world! IS NOTHING SACRED!" before storming off into the depths of the forest. The Red Dragon, terribly confused by the whole event, has not seen the sorceress since. Thus, he took her last words to be his true name.
