Desipis Dragons are an extremely dangerous breed, synonymous with the paths of desolation they leave in their wakes. These gargantuan beasts are infamous for their innate ability to control and manipulate the minds of others, which they use to pulverize the sanities of their foes and forge false memories. This power is especially effective on the foolish, and only the strongest-willed individuals have been known to resist a Desipis’s cunning. Most who anger Desipises do not live to tell the tale. Desipis Dragons are especially feared for their uncanny power of absorbing the magic of others with the fire they breathe and converting it into the bright reserves of crystallized mana that decorate their bodies.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Hellnapper is a fierce warrior, who was able to put his volatile nature to good use by becoming a valuable leader of his Clan's militia. When around others in the Clan he is made to wear armor encrusted with gemstones that negate his hostile magics, as he has a bad habit of using it without realizing when others anger him; due to his short temper, he is (to his disdain) never able to get much higher in rank.

In battle he is a fierce tank; due to his uncontrollable magics, he is only ever sent into battle alone as a one-man army that the enemy fears. Others are concerned by his somewhat sadistic nature, as he clearly loves to desolate his opponents, but they're willing to keep him around as a valuable weapon as long as he's on their side. Though he certainly has some nefarious qualities, he's content to use them benevolently, as he also loves the glory and pride.
