Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

I'd giggles to himself whenever his name is mentioned. He's interested in the grammatical structure of languages, and it tickles him to hear speakers sound "wrong". I'd watches the diurnal drakes and pygmies sometimes, and he's been envious of their smallness. Some are small enough to be perfect shoulder critters for humans. Sometimes, he emulates them by "fluttering" in the air and sitting on the shoulder of whichever human hasn't fled from him. So far, no one's wanted him as a shoulder companion, even when he assures them that he's only killed four people, all by accident.
