Rosebud Dragons are a fun and social breed found most often in the spring. The petal-like feathers that grow on their sides spread their sweet and floral scent. Although they have poor eyesight, they have ribbon-like extensions that extend their olfactory abilities to help create a map of the area around them. When flying, Rosebud dragons tend to hover, using their wings to fan their scent throughout the air. A widespread breed, they go to great effort to visit as many flowery fields as possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Alongside her friend Predication, Used Orb works in a tailor's shop in Tent 4, where the flowerbeds are. She cuts and sews asymmetrical cloaks and shawls, and when finished, she passes them to the humans in Tent 3 for precision work and hoods. Used Orb does not handle hoods because when she did, she would wear the article and wave the hood, creating a breeze that spread a flowery scent to neighboring tents and sent lighter materials flying. The boss frowns upon this. Used Orb has also gotten into trouble playing with the butt flap shirts (and calling them butt flap shirts), but otherwise, she's a great worker who gets along with everyone, even the surliest customer. Despite her poor vision, she also has the best eye for color matching and has worked with dyes and studied dye materials long before the boss was born.
