Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Pyropathic is the worst holiday dragon ever. Thanks to his father's influence, his innate desire to spread holiday cheer has been replaced by a constant urge to set things ablaze. He'll gladly burn anything, be it a living creature or not, but his favorite targets by far are holiday decorations. Most would consider this a good thing (better decorations than something more important), but once you've had a crazed Yulebuck storm into your home and light your Christmas tree on fire, your opinion may change. Pyropathic's favorite targets include fir trees, star-shaped things, reindeer with particularly red noses, old-fashioned sleighs, nine-pronged candles, and multifaceted tops. If you own any of these things and you see a Yulebuck charging towards you with a manic look in his eye, run as fast and far as you can.
