Sunrise Dragons are closely related to sunset dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunrise Dragons prefer to live in large groups and enjoy basking in the early morning sun. They are usually most active in the morning, and go to sleep in the early evening.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

This graceful, agile dragon steps out of the cave to greet the sun each day. Dew drops from the grass collect on her wings and cast a shining light about the dragon sanctuary as they catch the suns first rays. Happy to feel the sun's warmth on her her scales she lifts her head in a happy song, a gentle happy song that rouses other sleeping dragons to see such a beautiful sight.

This is where First Iluminationsish gets her name. She always brings the first light into the cave where lay sleeping dragons. Shes a calm dragon and loves basking in the sun as typical her breed of dragon. She gets along well with and is accepted by the many Purple dragons in the Sanctuary.
