White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Jelina's children had a bad history. One of them was left to a bad handler and had such a severe sickness that she had to see her child frozen in time, unable to die, but also to grow. She mourns the loss deeply, as well as the loss of a second egg, which was left unattended for but a moment in which a vampire snacked on it. Unable to reverse the magic, she left it in disgust to the vampire which had it, as she was not enough of a fighter to gain revenge. She treats any and all vampires with deep suspicion and pity, somewhere between codling them and forgetting her pacifistic nature and killing them.

It's understandable that she has been chaste for quite a while as a result, and she will probably starve herself to death protecting any future children rather than let anything similar occur to them.
