Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Once revered by the ancient Egyptians, Khepri and her lineage were worshiped by those who followed the Gods of the sun and the scarab beetle. However, the old ways died, and no longer were the ancient magi dragons revered as 'messengers of the Gods'. Instead they were killed and driven out. Khepri, having lost many relatives in this cruel slaughter, flew far away, where she joined up with the KT Clan. Khepri enjoys using her magic and also foretelling events for her new clan leader, Padrone, by using the bones of animals and shells. She has often predicted good hunting sites, or helped Padrone in upcoming battles against his enemies. A bit aloof and reserved, Khepri often spends long hours gazing at the sun, perhaps envisioning her younger years in ancient Egypt.
