Ice Dragons are fierce predators who hunt using their extremely cold breath. The breath of an ice dragon can freeze its prey solid in seconds. The body of an ice dragon is so cold that icicles will form along its skin no matter the outside temperature.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Blown in with the wind one cold and spooky night, the mist clung to the icicles dangling from Cile's egg, sparkling in luminosity of the moon. From an early age Cile showed an affinity with the nightly orb, staying late out in the chill of night to gaze at it, yet cowering from the harsh rays of the sun which came each morn. Slowly becoming nocturnal, Cile practised summoning at night, closing her eyes and concentrating on the roughly drawn egg she'd seen in a book, and hatching every curve and feature with the moon. While most of the Aquarius Clan referred to the egg as the 'Blue-Mist Egg', she spoke of it as the 'Moon Egg', and her dreams led her to visions of a powerful dragon who swept her off her feet. Though she has yet to speak to anyone about these dreams she continues her attempts to summon the dragon, believing it is a crucial part of her destiny.
