Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s kind of shaky on its feet and enjoys playing in puddles.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

FeistyWaterHorse is a Waterhorse Dragon hatchling with a chip on her shoulder. She's bossy, spoiled, and somewhat aggressive. Raised by her bigoted parents, who both believe that pure bred Waterhorse Dragons are better than any other dragon out there, and that dragons of mixed heritage are freaks of nature. FeistyWaterHorse is basically a 'Dragon Bully' she steals, she hits, she screams and she bites. She will go out of her way to make someone else feel bad. Other than her family members, FeistyWaterHorse has almost no friends in her cave. Even the sweetest hatchling in the cave, NightBloomingFlower, don't like her any more. Actually, even her own family doesn't like to be around her for too long. Her few friends are bullies, like herself.
