Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Fire Gem Dragons are a colorful, flamboyant breed often found in hot climates, particularly around active volcanoes. Their broad tails store the flames they breathe, which are colored by the heavy amount of minerals in the water they drink. These dragons come in a variety of colors, and will collect shiny trinkets and stones that match their own coloration. Despite their hoarding tendencies, though, Fire Gem dragons are social and will often congregate in groups and show off their collections while fawning over the stones their friends and rivals have gathered, occasionally arranging trades.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Cover-up is the third rank-2 B-listed daughter in a business-oriented family—the wealthy and shrewd elder adults have plans for every eventuality, so survival is no issue for the large clan. Cover-up and her siblings oversee small and medium-sized dealings but otherwise have a lot of time to do other things, and everyone has a different job and set of interests. Cover-up spends most days in her lair, fiddling around with mana and her fiery tail. Her studies aren't all for fun and curiosity, though. For instance, she has figured out how to efficiently produce "fire-starter stones", minuscule tablets that produce purple flame when rubbed against any ordinary rock. She trades these with humans and the occasional dragon, who typically use the stones for cooking and warming homes. Most of Cover-up's siblings don't visit her in the cave room due to the odor and a fear they'd be accidentally set alight with the materials inside.
