Antarean Dragons are peaceful creatures shrouded in mystery. They are primarily found in the desert where they get most of their energy from sunbathing. Their most notable traits are their highly reflective manes and the mysterious light emitted by their scales which fades from bright, nearly blinding yellow-white into dim red as the dragons get older. Legend claims that they are otherworldly beings that came to this world when a meteor struck.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Hirameki likes to find meaning in mundane things and believes that any dull moment is a moment wasted. Given that he spends a lot of time sunbathing, in order to hold true to his convictions, he sets up fragments of mirrors and slivers of glass around the rocky cliffs he lounges at. Whenever he can, he'll haul in some light mana crystals to catch the sunbeams, reflecting rainbow hues onto the other shiny objects to make the boring stone formation into a dreamy kaleidoscope of a venue. Sometimes his older siblings ask if they can use the areas for dates.
