Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Sprite's Glow is really good at fighting and really good at breaking things. He's very superstitious and makes many silly assumptions about the world and other creatures, none of which have been shown true (yet). To his peers' amusement and befuddlement, no matter how many times he stumbles into a situation that's a lot more important or dangerous than he initially assumed, he survives the event and walks away without ever realizing what he was in. Somewhere on the other side of Galsreim is a historian trying to figure out why a painting depicting the signing of the Antares Charter depicts a seemingly misplaced black dragon off to the side, wrestling with one of the diplomats.
