Daydream Dragons are the hosts of daydreams and fantasies. They spend the majority of their time sitting on clouds, dropping daydreams down into the minds of people passing by. Humans who live near Daydream Dragons must be especially careful not to let their thoughts wander, or they could end up spending hours or even days in a trance-like waking dream state.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Wednesday started out as part of a small nomadic group who were, more or less, like family to each other. Though he didn't seem like the most fit leader at the time, being very a paranoid and stubborn dragon, he quickly grew into the role, and the others acknowledged him as the head of their group. Being in charge, and responsible for the lives of others made him much more serious, level-headed, and confident, though he still isn't without his prior issues.

After a long time of just the four counting on each other, Wednesday began to take interest in a nearby loner, much to his group's dismay. He eventually was able to encounter her, and she turned out to be a less-than-pleasant dragon. He was persistent, however, and she eventually joined his group, becoming much nicer when given a place to belong.

A few years passed, and their group was brought into a larger Clan which, though he was initially unsure about, Wednesday grew to love. He is now the proud father of three hatchlings.
