Cavern Lurker Dragons are nocturnal ambush predators. Although small, they are very aggressive and will attack anything weak enough to be overpowered. Their preferred method of hunting is to lie in wait in a cave, burrow, or other small, enclosed space; when any potential prey passes they will lunge out to grab hold of the unsuspecting victim and drag it back into the lair. Cavern Lurkers have an odd aversion to sunlight and almost never venture out during the day. More commonly sighted are the odd piles of bones they stack near the entrance to their dens. Their mating call is a low-pitched bumping noise.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Sculker's name is not a misspelling of "Skulker". It's a combination of "Sculptor" and "Lurker". Whoever dares insult her spelling ability should come visit the mouth of her hidey-hole at night. She creates works of art with the leftover bones from her kills. There's one piece located 12 fathoms north of the mouth, and its placement on a dais with a forcefield around it indicates Sculker is very proud of this one—it's likely her favorite. It depicts a sort of mouth, or maybe a curved hand with four digits. In the morning, when the sunlight filters through the tangle of tree branches, the reflections on the top and the leaf-like protrusions of the sculpture make the "mouth" or "fingers" appear to close. The effect is most pronounced in the fall and early winter. The piece is made entirely of skulls of various species. Viewers often shout compliments across the clearing in the direction of Sculker's hidey-hole, although no one seems to like what she named her artwork: the Skullpture.
