Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

There is a troublemaking dragon known as Lion (or something like that) who is the same age, height, and color as Doozy but different in breed and utterly different in behavior. Lion has a habit of stealing resources in small portions, losing things, and happily throwing snark at anyone and everyone. Doozy doesn't know this dragon very well and hasn't met him (or her) in person, but he couldn't be more annoyed at Lion's actions because he's frequently thought to be an accomplice or even outright blamed. Lion would cause trouble in some way, and despite general knowledge that the two don't spend time together and Doozy's assertions that he's not responsible, folks would assume he was somehow responsible anyway. Many people follow the logic that since Lion is a gold-colored dragon and Doozy is a gold-colored dragon (and they are the only golden dragons in the territory), the two must be affiliated. How unfair. It's association by gilt.
