Arcana Dragons are a rarely-encountered breed of dragon known for both their magical abilities, and their quirky, hardworking nature. These dragons have specialized organs for storing mana, and can produce varying effects from these reserves simply through instinct. However, they are also very intelligent dragons, and when raised around mages, or others of their own kind, almost invariably become obsessed with the study of magic. Arcanae are diligent in their efforts to discover as many uses for magic as possible, and while they will openly treat others to the fruits of their labor—especially others who share their interests—they will also use their knowledge and abilities to trick any creature that thinks it can take advantage of them.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Self-Evident Implausibility enjoys collecting bones and other body parts and building skeletons out of them, but her intention is to build creatures that could've existed, and she is really not good at it. She's studied magical rites and potions since she was small, but this is one venture where application of more magic doesn't really help her skeletons look any more plausible. She never bothered to learn animal biology, so a lot of her decisions to attach this part here or that bone there are arbitrary. Visitors to her stall describe her creations as "questionable" and "incredible", and for especially weird-looking creations, "laughable", "plainly fake", and "flamboyantly fake". Self-Evident Implausibility likes being flamboyant, but in this context, she knows those remarks are disparaging. She sometimes attempts to sell her skeletons, and the only buyers so far are those who knowingly purchase them because they look incredible.
